Casino King William Harrah built a sprawling estate on the east shore of Lake Tahoe in 1963 to entertain his celebrity friends.

The likes of Judy Garland, Sammy Davis Junior, Frank Sinatra, and the rest of the Rat Pack would enter the Nevada estate and party the night away. This is the Historic Home of the Harrah's Group. The so-called "Villa Harrah" enjoyed a heyday in the 1960s and is now open to you with spectacular views of the lake, above Cave Rock.

The home opens into a spacious great room with soaring ceilings, a grand stone hearth, and patio access out to the deck overlooking the lake. The formal dining area that divides the living area from the kitchen can seat up to ten, with sightlines to the lake and mountains in the distance. The adjoining chef’s kitchen features professional-grade appliances, ample counter spaces, and a casual breakfast table. This unique lake property is hemmed into the hill with sweeping mountain and lake views. The luxury living spaces, balconies, and bedrooms are spread across several floors providing plenty of areas to gather with your group and find some privacy. The media room features a large flat-screen TV, a plush sectional, and a cozy fireplace. After a day on the slopes, guests can gather in one of many sitting areas to relax with a nightcap or to watch a movie around a blazing fire.

- Gatherings and events that exceed the maximum occupancy of the vacation home rental are prohibited
- Parking Spaces: 4
- Renters will be issued parking placards which they and their guests must display on the driver’s side dashboard of their vehicles, that renters and their guests will be required to park only in designated parking areas, and that failure to park in designated parking areas and/or display the parking placards may result in a citation and fine of $500
- Quiet hours are designated between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am and will be strictly enforced.
